Word of Mouth is a friendly, Cheltenham based non-auditioned women’s choir which meets weekly during the school term. It was founded by Jane Ward Watts in 2011. Initially with a handful of members, it has grown, through word of mouth (pun intended), to over 25.
The repertoire includes arrangements for women’s voices of classics such as Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus, songs from musical theatre, such as 42nd Street, and folk tunes, such as Un Az de Rebe Zingt.
Rehearsals begin a physical and vocal warm-up then continue with a good sing. New members are welcome so please contact us to find out the location of our next rehearsal.
